Silence of the Lambs

This   morning on national television (Good Morning America) I head a report about how in California counselors were no longer going to be able to talk with teenagers about their sexual orientation. It appears that the state believes that teenagers are confused when someone tells them that it is possible to change their sexual behavior, and the state doesn’t want teenagers to be confused. Excuse me, living in California is enough in and of itself to be confused. I once heard someone refer to California as the “Land of Fruits and Nuts.” No wonder so many people are leaving the state.

The Bible tells us that we are all sinner (Rom. 3:26), and the Bible tells us that there is a wage for sin (Rom. 6:23), that wage is DEATH. You and I are going to die because of sin. We inherited sin from our parents – they were sinners and the spiritual DNA of their sin was passed down to us.

Have you ever noticed that you don’t have to teach people to do wrong, that it just comes naturally? No, what we have to do is to teach people to say “NO” to their sinful desires and behavior. This includes all kinds of sin, everything from drunkenness to homosexuality, and even to fornication (sex outside of marriage). Forget the arguments that you have for me. I’m just speaking to you about a biblical worldview. Its really that simple.

California once again has it wrong. The nannie state continues to push for all of it citizens to think alike, and to even agree that perversion is right. Woe to those who call good evil, and evil good (Isa. 5:20) Go ahead and read that verse. I dare you to.
