Hosea 12:1-14 The God that Disciplines
In this chapter we are going to take a look at The God that Disciplines. God not only loves His people, but He will correct/discipline His people. He brings a charge against Judah, and will punish Jacob. Discipline has those two elements: First comes the charge, and then the punishment (correction). We see in this chapter that Jacob is an example of discipline that works. Finally we see the cause of discipline, and we are given a whole list of sins (go and read the passage). At the end of the message Pastor Kim shares some preventative measures on how to avoid being disciplined by God. Grab your Bible and follow along.
